What a blessed week! Thursday, March 19th we celebrated St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus. We spent some time thinking about what a special gift our dads are to us. Kindergarten and Pre-school worked together to make a list of the many ways our dad's help form us into the wonderful person God wills for us to be! We finished our lesson with a prayer for all dads. St. Joseph pray for us!
Many prayers for a blessed season of lent. Kindergarten has been working very hard, but took a bit of time to celebrate the feast day of St. Patrick! St. Patrick was a missionary in Ireland and is often remembered for his teaching the concept of the Holy Trinity with the use of the simple shamrock. We thank God for the gift of the communion of Saints and angels in heaven, and ask for their intercession as we try to grow closer to God each day! Happy feast of St. Patrick!
